Registry Counter Services
- Provide registry counter services to internal and external clients of the Directorate.
- Handle all registry counter enquiries professionally and in line with departmental procedures.
- Ensure members of staff and visitors are assisted efficiently and courteously at the registry counter.
Incoming & Outgoing Correspondence
- Handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence accurately and timeously.
- Ensure correspondence is correctly received, recorded, distributed, and dispatched in accordance with registry procedures.
- Maintain a tracking system for all correspondence to ensure nothing is misplaced or delayed.
Filing & Record Management
- Render an effective filing and record management service within the Directorate.
- Maintain accurate, well-organised physical and electronic filing systems.
- Apply knowledge of storage and retrieval procedures to ensure documents are accessible and correctly filed at all times.
Office Machine Operation
- Operate office machines in relation to the registry function — including scanners, printers, photocopiers, and related equipment.
- Ensure office machines are used correctly and report any defects or malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
- Capture data accurately using computer systems as required.
Document Archiving & Disposal
- Process documents for archiving and/or disposal in line with applicable retention schedules and legislative requirements.
- Ensure all archiving and disposal activities comply with the relevant legislative framework governing the Public Service.
- Maintain accurate records of all documents archived or disposed of.

Educational Qualifications:
