Purpose of the Role — Farm Aid

The Farm Aid performs essential hands-on crop production, farm maintenance, infrastructure upkeep, and general farm support activities at the Roodeplaat Variety Control research facility — ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Department of Agriculture’s plant variety evaluation farm in Pretoria, Gauteng.


Key Responsibilities – Farm Aid Agriculture Jobs South Africa

Crop Production Activities

  • Irrigation of crops on the research farm
  • Soil cultivation and preparation — including cleaning, hoeing, and related activities
