What Does a Government Cleaner Do?

A Cleaner in the Cleaning Services division is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and professional presentation of government office buildings, ablution facilities, kitchens, and common areas at the Pretoria Regional Office. 🏢 General Building Cleaning

  • Refill toilet paper dispensers and handwashing soap dispensers regularly throughout each shift
  • Wash and disinfect toilet floors, surfaces, and fixtures to prevent the spread of germs
  • Ensure ablution facilities remain clean, stocked, and hygienic at all times

🍽️ Kitchen Cleaning & Hospitality Support

  • Wash kitchen floors and surfaces using appropriate cleaning materials and methods
