MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST REQUIRED FOR SPECIALIST ROOMS IN SHELLY BEACH, KZN
Temporary Position
Key areas of responsibility include and are not limited to:
`Records management: data recording `Co-ordinating theatre bookings and liaising with the hospital, GP`s, medical aids and other healthcare professionals as required `Confirm authorisations and coding for specific procedures (faxing, scanning, managing email communications)
•Typing of Dr`s reports, as well as the admin of Dr`s notes and referrals `Patient billing during consulting
•Posting and balancing of remittance advice
•Monthly Age Analysis `Quotations / Debt collection
Requirements:
`Matric / Previous medical admin experience essential `Hands on experience with medical software and Office `Familiarity with medical aids and hospital procedures `Good communication / interpersonal / time management skills `Support day- to-day operations of the practice by performing various tasks `It is essential that one is able to multitask and prioritize `One is expected to handle sensitive patient information confidentially and adhere to the POPI act Ideally 1-year previous experience in a medical practice.
Must have excellent telephone and interpersonal skills, professional appearance and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Reporting directly to the Practice Manager Workdays and hours: Mon•Fri 8•5 (incl some Saturdays)
Remuneration: Depending on qualification and competence
Start date: Aug 2022
