Barron is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Coordinator to support the implementation of its marketing strategy and campaigns. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail, a passion for marketing, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects across digital and traditional channels. The Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Digital Marketing Manager and contribute to Barron’s brand growth and market visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Campaigns

Assist in creating and executing marketing and design strategies aligned with the annual marketing plan.

Research and compile content for marketing campaigns, liaising with suppliers and vendors as required.

Contribute to compiling and maintaining the annual marketing calendar.

Support the planning and execution of marketing events, seminars, workshops, and conferences.

Manage and maintain social media platforms and website updates.
-
Respond to client inquiries via social media and email.

Conduct marketing research on consumer behaviour to inform strategy and provide actionable insights.

Employ marketing analytics to track social media, web analytics, and content performance, proposing improvements where necessary.

Assist in updating budgets for campaigns and coordinate activities with relevant stakeholders.
Administration & Reporting

Perform ad hoc administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of marketing operations.

Collect and analyse data on customer demographics, preferences, and marketing performance, providing feedback and recommendations to the Marketing Manager.

Consolidate monthly email statistics, social media management, and web-leads reports for presentation to relevant stakeholders.

Assist in reviewing stakeholder experience and compiling campaign reports.
Minimum Requirements

NQF 6 or 7 in Marketing or Public Relations.

2-3 years’ experience as a Marketing Assistant or Coordinator, preferably in the wholesale or retail industry.

Strong knowledge of sales and marketing principles, communication, and media practices.

Excellent attention to detail and creativity.

Ability to multi-task and manage marketing projects efficiently.

Proficient in marketing analytics, social media management, and digital content creation.
