Purpose of the Role
The General Worker at Farmpack performs a range of general operational tasks — including packing, loading, off-loading, stock control support, cleaning, and housekeeping — that keep the facility running smoothly and efficiently every day. Key Responsibilities – General Worker (Farmpack)
Packing, Loading & Off-Loading
- Pack, load, and off-load stock as required in accordance with Farmpack’s policies and procedures.
- Ensure all packing and loading activities are performed accurately, carefully, and efficiently to prevent product damage and maintain operational throughput.
- Support the smooth movement of stock through the facility from receipt through to despatch.
Stock Control Support
- Assist with stock control activities where required — supporting accurate stock counts, organised storage, and correct placement of materials and products throughout the facility.
- Report any stock discrepancies, damages, or irregularities to the supervisor promptly.
Housekeeping & Cleaning
- Maintain general tidiness and cleanliness across all areas of the Farmpack facility at all times.
