Purpose of the Role
The Marketing Agent is responsible for managing designated accounts and growing the volume and range of Qpro Feeds products sold within the assigned area. This should be achieved through strategic business decisions, proactive customer relationship building, consistent delivery of quality products, and the active differentiation of Qpro Feeds as a preferred animal feed brand across the Free State agricultural market.

Key Responsibilities – Marketing Agent (Qpro Feeds)
Sales Growth & Account Management
- Take full responsibility for the growth in sales of Qpro Feeds’ complete product range across the designated area — including monogastric and ruminant feed products.
- Manage designated accounts strategically, growing both the volume and the range of products sold within each account over time.
- Deliver innovative and strategic solutions that support and grow current accounts — moving beyond order-taking to become a genuine business partner for each customer.
- Manage product portfolio activities within the territory, including product launches, pricing management, and promotional activities.
- Manage product forecasting per account to optimise Qpro Feeds’ procurement and stock levels and ensure consistent product availability to meet customer requirements.
New Business Development
- Proactively identify and source new clients within the designated territory — expanding the Qpro Feeds customer base among commercial farmers, smallholders, feedlots, and poultry and livestock producers.
- Gain ongoing insight into customer requirements, competitor activities, and market trends and developments — using this intelligence to inform sales strategy and product positioning.

Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain excellent, trust-based, long-term customer relationships across all levels of the customer’s organisation — from farm workers to business owners and procurement managers.
