Key Responsibilities

Efficient Achievement of Targets

Communicate sales targets to the Field Force.

Increase volumes in the field.

Monitor sales performance to ensure targets are achieved.

Drive ad-hoc promotions to increase sales.

Develop alternative strategies to increase sales.

Ensure promotional activities are implemented timeously.

Manage Promotional Activity

Facilitate the implementation of promotion grids.

Ensure field force is informed about promotional time frames.

Communicate promotional objectives clearly.

Ensure understanding and correct implementation of various promotions.

Confirm that promotional activities are maintained.

Provide feedback to relevant stakeholders.

Monitor competitor innovations.

Analyse and manage data integrity in field communications.

Control Expenses

Control cell phone and telephone expenses.

Monitor and control fuel expenses.

Monitor and control vehicle expenses.

Pro-Active Operational Excellence

Manage resources to ensure efficient day-to-day operations in the field.

Continuously monitor service delivery.

Implement systems to promote efficiency.

Implement sales initiatives and value-adding store operations.

Ensure company assets are maintained according to company policy.

Manage staff in-store communication and feedback.

Relevant Diploma at NQF Level 5

Code 8 Driver’s License

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years’ field sales supervision experience

Experience within the retail renewable energy and financial environment at a managerial or supervisory level is required.
