POSITION:
Boilermaker
Division: African Exploration Mining and Finance
Corporation (AEMFC)
Location: Vlakfontein Mine
Purpose
Support the company’s plant with regards to maintenance, improving
plant availability and controlling costs
Responsibilities
Maintain crushing & screening plant equipment
• Assist Diesel Mechanics
Attend to all Plant breakdowns
Refurbishment of machinery and replacing parts to optimise output
To be involved in planned maintenance & daily planning of the job list
and control spares
Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent
Minimum 4 years post qualification as a Boilermaker
At least 3 years experience in the mining industry
Boilermaker Trade Test (Red Seal Certificate)
