Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Minimum Grade 10 or equivalent qualification

1β2 yearsβ experience in a hospital environment

Ability to read and write

Good verbal and written skills

Sound communication skills

Experience in porter duties will be an added advantage

Must be time-conscious and able to report and relieve duties on time
Candidates must also be willing to work shifts and operate effectively in a high-pressure and sometimes stressful healthcare environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for a wide range of porter and support duties, including:

Accompanying and transporting patients to and from different hospital departments
-
Assisting nursing staff with transferring patients onto beds and trolleys
-
Delivering medical documentation to wards and relevant departments
-
Assisting with the movement and shifting of medical equipment
-
Cleaning and maintaining wheelchairs and patient trolleys
-
Transporting corpses to the mortuary and assisting with mortuary-related activities when required
-
Collecting and counting wheelchairs and trolleys daily
-
Collecting wheelchairs from all service points, including entrances and main gates
-
Ensuring proper handling of equipment and reporting any breakages
-
Acting as a mortuary attendant when required
-
Performing additional duties as assigned from time to time
This role requires reliability, compassion, physical stamina, and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
