Impact HR is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Picker / Packer to join a fast-paced FMCG warehouse operation based in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal. This is a contract position suited to individuals who are physically fit, organised, and able to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high accuracy standards.
The role is critical in ensuring that customer orders are picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch accurately and on time, contributing directly to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
About the Role
The Picker / Packer is responsible for the accurate picking and packing of stock in accordance with pick lists and order requirements. The role requires close attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a warehouse team.
This position operates within a high-volume FMCG environment and is ideal for candidates who are hands-on, dependable, and committed to maintaining quality and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
Order Picking and Packing
The successful candidate will accurately pick stock items according to pick lists and ensure that all orders are packed securely and correctly for shipment. Accuracy is essential to prevent dispatch errors and ensure customer satisfaction.
Labelling and Dispatch Preparation
The role includes labelling and organising packages to ensure easy identification, correct routing, and efficient delivery. All packed goods must meet internal packaging and handling standards.
Inventory and Stock Support
The Picker / Packer will assist with inventory management and stock replenishment, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that warehouse processes run smoothly.
Housekeeping and Safety Compliance
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment is a core responsibility. The role requires strict adherence to safety guidelines and procedures while performing all tasks, including lifting and handling stock.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment – advantageous
