About the Role
The Junior Branch Marketer will be responsible for selling and marketing agricultural products according to agreed targets, while ensuring effective stock control within the retail branch. The role requires continuous engagement with customers, product promotion, and maintaining strong client relationships through professional and reliable service.
This position offers exposure to agricultural retail operations and ongoing development through structured training within the VKB Group.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Product Marketing
The successful candidate will actively market agricultural merchandise, promote products to customers, and support sales targets through walk-in, telephonic, and email interactions.
Stock Control and Ordering
You will assist with stock control activities, including monitoring stock levels, placing stock orders, and ensuring continuous product availability for customers.
Customer Service Excellence
The role involves delivering a consistently high standard of customer service, addressing customer enquiries professionally, and building long-term client relationships.
Branch Support and Ad-Hoc Duties
You will perform additional job-related duties as required, contributing to efficient branch operations and supporting the wider retail team.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 qualification

1–2 years’ experience in irrigation

Experience in an agricultural retail environment will be an advantage

Knowledge of irrigation systems and electrical equipment will be advantageous

Willingness to undergo continuous training
