Ampath Laboratories is seeking to appoint a qualified and committed Technologist | Clinpath on a permanent basis at its Carstenhof General Laboratory in Midrand. Key Responsibilities
Clinical Pathology Testing and Sample Processing
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing routine and urgent pathology samples in accordance with established laboratory protocols. This includes ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with quality standards in all testing procedures.
Quality Assurance and Laboratory Compliance
You will contribute to maintaining laboratory quality systems, ensuring that all work complies with professional, regulatory, and organisational standards. Attention to detail and adherence to best practice are critical components of this role.
Team Support and Knowledge Sharing
The Technologist will work collaboratively within the laboratory team, offering technical support and contributing to the training and development of colleagues where required. This role supports a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Client and Service Excellence

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

National Diploma in Medical Technology (Clinical Pathology)

Registration with HPCSA as a Medical Technologist (Clinical Pathology)

1–2 years’ experience in a pathology laboratory environment
