Role Purpose
The Technical Support Intern acts as a bridge between technical engineering and operational management. In this role, you will support Network Management and facilitate workshop activities across the region. You will gain specialized exposure to world-class transmission systems like the Traxon and Ecolife, while assisting in the development of repair protocols and providing critical administrative and technical support to our OEM partners and workshop networks.
Key Performance Areas & Responsibilities
1. Specialized Product Knowledge & Engineering Support

CV Transmissions: Gain deep technical knowledge on the most relevant commercial vehicle transmissions, specifically the Traxon and Ecolife units.

Tooling Documentation: Assist in developing and documenting special tooling requirements for Repair Levels 1, 2, and 3 for our service partners.

Technical Support: Provide frontline assistance for Customer and OEM support queries, ensuring high levels of technical accuracy and service.
2. Network Management & Data Analytics

Salesforce Administration: Support the network team by keeping Salesforce up to date with accurate customer information and service history.

Audit Presentations: Capture audit results from regional workshops and present the findings to management to drive quality improvements.

Report Writing: Compile detailed technical and operational reports based on field data and workshop performance.
3. Training & Workshop Coordination

Event Logistics: Assist in the organization of technical training days for workshop partners and technicians.

Material Development: Collate and organize training manuals and technical materials to ensure our network remains at the cutting edge of CV technology.
4. Operational Administration

Financial Admin: Assist with the tracking and following up of Purchase Orders (POs) and general administrative tasks to ensure smooth workshop operations.

Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a point of contact for administrative queries between the Germiston office and various OEMs.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
To be considered for this Technical Support Internship in Germiston, candidates must meet the following:

Education: Minimum N4 Qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering preferred).
