Introduction
The Incredible Connection Salesperson is the frontline expert responsible for delivering the brand promise of “Incredible” service and technology solutions. In this role, you will be more than just a clerk; you will be a consultant, identifying customer needs and recommending the latest in computing, gaming, cellular, and smart-home technology. Your goal is to generate income and maximize profit by building lasting relationships and ensuring every customer leaves with the perfect tech solution.
Key Performance Areas & Responsibilities
1. Sales Performance & Revenue Growth

Direct Sales: Perform daily sales activities to meet and exceed individual and branch sales budgets and income targets.

Prospecting: Engage with walk-in customers and actively use sales prospecting processes to grow the store’s customer database.

Upselling: Maximize profit by recommending value-added services and accessories that complement primary product purchases.
2. Customer Engagement & Merchandising

Service Excellence: Deal with customers in a professional, customer-centric manner, ensuring that the Incredible Connection reputation for excellence is upheld.

Merchandising: Attract and retain customers by maintaining high standards of floor merchandising and ensuring displays are clean, organized, and up to date.

Product Knowledge: Maintain extensive knowledge of products across all categories (Laptops, Desktop PCs, Monitors, Smartphones, and Networking).
3. Financial & Operational Administration

Transaction Processing: Action both cash and credit sales processes efficiently, ensuring all administration is in line with company policy and the National Credit Act (NCA).

Policy Compliance: Adhere to all internal business policies and procedures regarding stock security and workplace safety.

Team Synergy: Work collaboratively with the other four new recruits and the existing team to ensure smooth store operations during peak periods.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful for one of these five positions at Incredible Connection, candidates must meet the following:

Education: Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.

Experience: 7 – 12 months of sales experience, preferably within a retail or technology-intensive environment.

Software: Basic computer literacy is required to operate the POS and administrative systems.

Availability: Must be able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays, at the Canal Walk mall.
