Main Purpose of the Job
The Food Service Assistant is responsible for supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. The primary focus is to assist in food production, deliver excellent service to customers, and ensure that all activities comply with strict Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations. You will be a key player in ensuring the smooth daily operation of the dining facility.
Key Performance Areas & Responsibilities
1. Food Production & Back-of-House Support

Preparation: Perform basic food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen management team.

Safety & Hygiene: Adhere to all food safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure high-quality output.

Maintenance: Assist in keeping the kitchen and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with health standards.
2. Front-of-House Service

Customer Interaction: Provide a world-class service experience to all clients and customers.

Service Delivery: Assist in the set-up of service stations and ensure efficient serving during peak meal times.

Problem Solving: Address basic customer queries and escalate issues to the supervisor when necessary.

Qualification and Experience Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
