Job Summary
The Clerk (Admin) provides critical administrative support within the Medical Aid department. The core focus of this role is to ensure the seamless processing of claims, managing hospital authorizations, and resolving client queries. As a key link between the company, its brokers, and its clients, the incumbent will maintain accurate records in the CRM system and ensure that all correspondence is handled with professionalism and speed.
Key Performance Areas & Responsibilities
1. Medical Aid & Insurance Administration

Claims Processing: Efficiently process and monitor medical aid and insurance claims from submission to resolution.

Authorizations: Handle hospital authorization requests, ensuring all required documentation is present and accurate.

Query Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for client and broker queries, providing clear and helpful information.
2. Data Management & CRM

Data Capturing: Accurately capture and update client information, claim details, and financial data within the system.

CRM Maintenance: Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database by logging all communications with clients and brokers consistently.

3. Divisional Support & Communication

Qualification and Skills Requirements
To be successful in this application, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education: Matric / Grade 12.

Experience: Minimum of 3 yearsβ work experience in a professional administrative position.
