Position Overview
The Gezina Pretoria branch is seeking a Service Advisor – Tools & Machinery, a technically skilled and customer-focused individual who will act as the key liaison between customers and service technicians. This role is ideal for someone passionate about repairs, maintenance, and technical product solutions, with a strong understanding of power tools, welding machines, compressors, generators, and small machinery such as petrol and diesel engines.
The Service Advisor will manage repairs workflow, appointments, warranty queries, and customer communications, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction. Experience in repairs and maintenance of tools and machinery will be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities

Consult with service technicians to determine necessary repairs and alternatives.

Provide customers with technical product advice, repair options, and service information.

Answer customer queries regarding service outcomes, costs, and warranties.

Schedule repair appointments and manage workflow in the Repairs division.

Notify customers of repair progress and pick-up times.

Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

Provide support and guidance to technicians and branch staff.

Continuously update product knowledge and technical skills.
Minimum Requirements

Proven work experience as a Service Advisor or similar technical role.

Technical knowledge of tools, machinery, and mechanical systems.

Ability to communicate effectively with customers at all levels.

Strong command of written and spoken English.
