Position Overview

Tiger Brands is seeking a physically capable and dedicated General Worker to support production, safety, and housekeeping functions within the Isando facility. This role requires an individual who can thrive in a high-performance factory environment, follow strict safety protocols, and contribute to efficient day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical labour tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving loads up to 25kg

• Maintain a clean, hazard-free, and compliant working environment

• Stack and palletise finished cases accurately according to specifications

• Conduct visual inspections of materials and products for defects

• Complete quality control documentation where required

• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties as part of daily routines

• Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and PPE standards

• Identify and report unsafe conditions, risks, and safety observations

• Adhere strictly to food safety policies and hygiene requirements

Minimum Requirements

• National Senior Certificate (Matric)

• Medically and physically fit for manual labour

• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and overtime

• Able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
