Position Overview
Motus Autoworx invites applications for a Polisher at its East London branch. This role ensures that all vehicles receive a smooth, flawless, and professional finish after the paint process. As part of the refinishing team, the Polisher ensures top-quality results that support both customer satisfaction and branch performance targets.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect painted surfaces to ensure they are fully dry before polishing.

Polish vehicles evenly and carefully to avoid damaging paintwork.

Remove dust and ensure vehicles are clean before sending them to the wash bay.

Eliminate all excess polish before vehicles move to assembly.

Identify overspray, colour mismatches, or surface defects and report them to the Spray Painter or Production Manager.

Check and confirm correct colour matching before final handover.

Maintain equipment in a safe condition and ensure all tools are stored properly at the end of the day.
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric

Minimum 2+ years relevant polishing experience

Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s licence (minimum two years old)

Basic computer literacy

Strong command of English (verbal and written)
