Position Overview

The Fuel Attendant ensures efficient, friendly, and safe service at the fuel station. Responsibilities include dispensing fuel, maintaining forecourt cleanliness, assisting customers with basic vehicle needs, handling transactions, and ensuring compliance with all safety and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense fuel to customers accurately and safely.

  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.

  • Handle cash and card transactions and balance fuel sales after each shift.

  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in sales or stock.

  • Maintain cleanliness and order of the forecourt and equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety and operational procedures.

  • Assist customers with basic vehicle needs as required.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Grade 12 / NQF 4

Experience:

  • Entry-level candidates are welcome. Previous retail or fuel station experience is advantageous.
