Position Overview

SSK is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Junior Store Salesperson to join the Agriland Store team in Herold. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic individual to develop strong sales experience within a dynamic agricultural retail environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in daily store operations and will report directly to the Branch Manager.

This role requires proactive engagement with customers, effective inventory management, and the ability to support the profitability of allocated store sections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the profitable management of assigned product sections.

  • Assist with general store administration and inventory control.

  • Contribute to the implementation of sales and merchandising strategies.

  • Deliver exceptional customer care and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Support store housekeeping and the upkeep of selling areas.

  • Assist with stock movement, pricing, and product presentation.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12 Certificate).

  • Bilingual in Afrikaans and English.

  • General sales orientation and interest in agricultural retail.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Good negotiation and planning abilities.

  • Solid computer literacy skills.
