Role Overview
The Driver position plays a vital role in the dealership’s operational efficiency by ensuring the prompt and safe transport of goods and customers. The role requires a responsible individual with excellent time management skills, knowledge of transport routes, and a strong sense of duty. The Driver is expected to maintain vehicle standards, follow legal driving practices, and assist in logistical tasks that support the customer service experience at Kia Fourways.
Key Responsibilities

Transport goods, documentation, and clients to and from designated locations safely and professionally

Execute driving tasks in compliance with road traffic laws and company procedures

Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any non-compliance issues

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and care of the vehicle at all times

Identify operational challenges and escalate unresolved problems promptly

Complete all trips and deliveries in alignment with service level agreements

Ensure full compliance with company governance, safety protocols, and regulatory standards

Prevent vehicle misuse and avoid activities that may result in financial loss

Represent Kia Fourways in a courteous and professional manner during all transport activities

Attend training to enhance skills and stay current with operational procedures
Qualifications and Experience

Matric Certificate (Grade 12) – required

1-2 years’ driving experience in a dealership or similar business environment

Valid South African driver’s license – essential

Strong working knowledge of local and regional transport routes is advantageous
