Role Overview
The Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager at Kia Tygervalley will be responsible for managing all aspects of the dealership’s pre-owned vehicle department. This includes leading the sales team, developing effective sales strategies, overseeing stock management, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving profitability. The successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping the dealership’s performance and maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement end-to-end pre-owned vehicle sales processes

Establish and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the department

Create and manage operational plans, including progress tracking and real-time adjustments
-
Resolve operational issues with discretion and strategic decision-making
-
Ensure full compliance with legal and governance regulations, including FICA, POPIA, and CPA
-
Strategically plan sales output and assign sales priorities to reach sales targets
-
Manage vehicle stock in line with company and OEM/Importer policies
-
Monitor financial activities and ensure adherence to budgets
-
Track and report budget variances and implement corrective actions
-
Maximize rebates from OEMs and ensure timely receipt of payments
-
Optimize the use of dealership assets, resources, and equipment
-
Structure profitable sales deals and improve customer acquisition and retention

Maintain and update content across digital and social platforms in accordance with branding standards

Lead customer service excellence initiatives and oversee CRM strategies
-
Foster strong relationships with OEMs, importers, and internal departments

Promote a customer-centric culture that exceeds expectations at all interaction points
Qualifications and Experience
Educational Requirements:

Higher Certificate or Advanced National Certificate in Sales and Marketing (preferred)
Experience Requirements:
-
5+ years of experience in the motor vehicle sales industry
-
At least 3 years in a supervisory or management role, with a record of managing a floor volume of 20–30 vehicles
