🍽️ Role Overview
Empact Group is seeking a Food Services Assistant in Tongaat to support front and back of house operations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about food, service delivery, and working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. ✅ Key Responsibilities

Assist in basic food preparation and ensure high-quality standards are maintained

Provide general support in both front and back of house areas, including serving food, cleaning, and setting up service stations

Adhere to all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations

Ensure cleanliness of work areas, utensils, and food service stations

Deliver excellent customer service in a professional and courteous manner

Assist the kitchen and catering team with additional duties as needed

Follow company policies and procedures to maintain service consistency

Support team members to ensure a smooth workflow during busy meal times
🎓 Qualifications and Experience

Matric (Grade 12) is essential

Previous hospitality or food service experience is required

Customer service experience will be advantageous

A qualification in Food and Beverage Services or Culinary Arts will be an added benefit

Knowledge of basic food production and kitchen operations
