Role Overview
The Administrator: Dealer Warranty is responsible for managing all warranty-related tasks, ensuring accurate claim submissions to OEM platforms, and maintaining effective communication between the technical department and customers. This role ensures that service, repairs, and maintenance operations run smoothly and cost-effectively while meeting the required standards of both the dealership and manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and submit warranty claims to the manufacturer in accordance with OEM and internal standards.

Cost job cards using labour operation codes.

Monitor and manage work-in-progress efficiently.

Prepare technical reports and load maintenance claims on OEM platforms.

Utilize systems like UCHP, Kuzer, Automate, and VOSP for accurate claim processing.

Ensure proper storage, disposal, and auditing of warranty parts.

Liaise with the Regional Service Manager (RSM) for warranty claims and parts.

Follow up on outstanding warranty payments.

Participate in warranty audits and maintain organized claim records.
Qualifications and Experience

Senior Certificate (Grade 12) is required.

Minimum of 2–3 years experience in the automotive service industry.

Prior experience as a Service Advisor, Technical Administrator, or Warranty/Costing Clerk is advantageous.

Basic technical and mechanical knowledge is essential.

Familiarity with systems such as UCHP, VOSP, Automate, and OEM-specific platforms.

Valid, unendorsed driver’s license is required.

Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Multilingual capabilities are preferred to support a diverse customer base.
