Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in administrative roles or customer-facing environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in more than one South African language
  • Excellent multitasking ability and organizational skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor and ability to deal with diverse individuals

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Security Department with a wide range of administrative functions:

Front Desk & Visitor Management

  • Greet and assist drivers, clients, and visitors at the front reception
  • Monitor and control visitor access in line with company procedures
  • Issue access documents and permits efficiently and accurately
  • Administer parcel and donation documentation
  • Direct incoming calls to the appropriate departments

Administrative and Clerical Duties

  • Accurately process daily access permissions
  • Handle order administration and document control
  • Maintain records and update entries on the Agrigrain system
  • Monitor order accuracy and report any variances
  • Ensure smooth workflow by coordinating with internal departments
  • Uphold a high standard of customer service

Problem-Solving & Coordination

  • Assess client or visitor concerns and escalate appropriately
  • Assist in issue resolution by informing the relevant parties
  • Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
