Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- At least 2 years’ experience in administrative roles or customer-facing environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to communicate effectively in more than one South African language
- Excellent multitasking ability and organizational skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Professional demeanor and ability to deal with diverse individuals
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Security Department with a wide range of administrative functions:
Front Desk & Visitor Management
- Greet and assist drivers, clients, and visitors at the front reception
- Monitor and control visitor access in line with company procedures
- Issue access documents and permits efficiently and accurately
- Administer parcel and donation documentation
- Direct incoming calls to the appropriate departments
Administrative and Clerical Duties
- Accurately process daily access permissions
- Handle order administration and document control
- Maintain records and update entries on the Agrigrain system
- Monitor order accuracy and report any variances
- Ensure smooth workflow by coordinating with internal departments
- Uphold a high standard of customer service
Problem-Solving & Coordination
- Assess client or visitor concerns and escalate appropriately
- Assist in issue resolution by informing the relevant parties
- Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
