Role Overview

The Service Delivery Specialist will support the business through robust delivery of internal and external IT solutions. This role ensures alignment of technology initiatives with strategic business objectives, focusing on infrastructure oversight, system optimization, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong project coordination, technical knowledge, service improvement experience, and excellent people skills.

This is a strategic position suited for professionals with a background in IT service management, business process development, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Infrastructure and System Management

• Oversee and maintain AVBOB’s IT infrastructure, ensuring availability, security, and performance

• Drive continuous system upgrades and improvements

• Lead the Service Desk function, ensuring SLA adherence and consistent quality

Client and Stakeholder Engagement

• Develop strong relationships with internal business units and external technology partners

• Maintain open lines of communication with regular progress reports and updates

• Monitor vendor performance and ensure alignment with service-level expectations

Project and Process Leadership

• Coordinate concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with business development goals

• Translate business needs into actionable technology requirements

• Foster collaboration between technical and product teams

Incident and Problem Resolution

• Manage and resolve high-priority service incidents, ensuring minimal disruption

• Facilitate post-incident reviews and continuous service improvement

• Ensure SLA compliance and documentation of service issues

Service Performance and Optimization

• Evaluate internal and third-party service processes, implementing best practices

• Proactively identify gaps in delivery and drive innovation for operational efficiency

• Embed industry-standard frameworks in daily operations

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Business Management

• 7+ years of experience in service delivery or a similar role

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• In-depth understanding of IT systems, solution architecture, and infrastructure

• Strong business process development and operational analysis experience

• Proficient in data tools, reporting, and root-cause analysis

• Knowledge of ITIL, project management, and incident response frameworks

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
