📘 Role Overview

Are you a passionate and driven Human Resources graduate ready to take your first step into the corporate world? Tiger Brands is looking for a Workplace Experience Student: People to join our dynamic HR team based in Pretoria. This role provides practical exposure across core HR functions such as recruitment, administration, training, employee relations, and data management.

As a Workplace Experience Student, you’ll gain hands-on experience that aligns with your academic background, preparing you for a rewarding career in Human Resources. It’s more than just an internship—it’s a stepping stone to building a solid professional foundation.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily HR administrative duties including data entry, scanning, and filing

• Support recruitment activities: advertising job vacancies, scheduling interviews, and engaging candidates

• Help maintain and update employee records in HR systems (e.g., leave registers, personnel files)

• Contribute to the onboarding process by preparing orientation materials and supporting induction sessions

• Coordinate logistics for training and development sessions

• Observe and assist with basic employee relations tasks such as grievance handling and disciplinary processes

• Collect and compile data for HR reporting and internal presentations

• Uphold the confidentiality and integrity of all employee-related information

• Carry out additional HR support duties as directed by the team

🎓 Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Educational Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or related field

• Recent graduate or in final year of study (Workplace Experience/Internship)

Technical and Soft Skills:

• Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Professionalism and ethical integrity

• Willingness to learn and take initiative

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
