📘 Role Overview
Are you a passionate and driven Human Resources graduate ready to take your first step into the corporate world? Tiger Brands is looking for a Workplace Experience Student: People to join our dynamic HR team based in Pretoria. This role provides practical exposure across core HR functions such as recruitment, administration, training, employee relations, and data management.
As a Workplace Experience Student, you’ll gain hands-on experience that aligns with your academic background, preparing you for a rewarding career in Human Resources. It’s more than just an internship—it’s a stepping stone to building a solid professional foundation.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily HR administrative duties including data entry, scanning, and filing

Support recruitment activities: advertising job vacancies, scheduling interviews, and engaging candidates

Help maintain and update employee records in HR systems (e.g., leave registers, personnel files)

Contribute to the onboarding process by preparing orientation materials and supporting induction sessions
-
Coordinate logistics for training and development sessions

Observe and assist with basic employee relations tasks such as grievance handling and disciplinary processes

Collect and compile data for HR reporting and internal presentations

Uphold the confidentiality and integrity of all employee-related information

Carry out additional HR support duties as directed by the team
🎓 Qualifications and Skills
Minimum Educational Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or related field

Recent graduate or in final year of study (Workplace Experience/Internship)
Technical and Soft Skills:

Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
