Role Overview:
The Clinic Category Administrator at Dis-Chem’s Head Office in Midrand will assist the National Clinic Manager and Clinic Admin Supervisor in handling administrative tasks for the clinic department. The role aims to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations while contributing to clinic operations and patient care programs.
Minimum Requirements:
Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric or a Senior Certificate.
- 1–2 years of relevant clinic experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proficiency in English (read, write, and speak).
Advantageous:
- Undergraduate qualification in Business Administration.
- Proficiency in a second additional language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, Good Clinical Practice standards, and internal policies.
- Assist with clinical administrative policies and strategies to improve patient care.
- Handle ordering and stock management for clinics and distribution centers (DCs).
- Plan and implement clinic initiatives in line with Dis-Chem’s annual objectives.
- Identify and implement best practices and clinical protocols.
- Provide monthly feedback to management regarding clinic matters.
- Oversee stock supplies, equipment orders, and clinic calendars for new store openings.
- Manage clinic-related queries via phone or email.
- Assist in managing leave, working hours, and overtime for clinic staff.
- Process contraception lists for salary deductions in DC clinics.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and uniform standards.
