About the Role:

Fedics, a division of Tsebo Catering, is seeking a Catering Manager to manage daily catering operations in Butha Buthe, Lesotho. The role requires setting and maintaining service standards, leading and motivating staff, and ensuring smooth operations within budget.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Full management responsibility for the catering unit.
  • Set and maintain service delivery standards in a demanding environment.
  • Lead, motivate, train, and develop a team.
  • Ensure quality control for food preparation and presentation.
  • Handle HR and IR issues, including training and performance management.
  • Manage all administrative, financial, and budgetary duties, including debtors and monthly P&L.
  • Coordinate and organize all functions and events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers.
  • Keep up to date with food trends and best practices.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent food preparation and management skills.
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and flexibility regarding working hours.
  • Experience in business management principles and client service focus.
  • Previous experience in the mining industry is an advantage.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • National Diploma in Hospitality Management or any related tertiary qualification (advantageous).
  • Minimum of 4 years of management experience in a similar role.
  • Fully computer literate.
  • Valid driver’s license.
