Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from supervisors or other senior authorities.
• Load and unload materials from different vehicles.
• Move pallet-packed materials around the site or storage facility.
• Check that loads are secure and perform equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and complete tasks quickly and accurately.
• Report any hazards or dangers and ensure the vehicle is in a safe and legal condition.
• Follow company rules and general machinery regulations.

Skills and Competencies

• Valid forklift certificate.
• Good physical condition and endurance.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Matric or GED.
• Valid forklift license.
• Experience in operating a forklift.
• A medical certificate (not older than 3 months).
