Job Description:
The Packer position involves performing general tasks with brief induction, ensuring high standards in packaging and stock control within our milling operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Packaging and Stock Control:
  • Ensure correct packaging for Graded Mills is used consistently.
  • Maintain a clear distinction between milled products, avoiding mixing.
  • Package, bag, and place products on pallets according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain storage according to SOPs and comply with safety and foodstuff regulations.
• General Duties:
  • Assist with loading and offloading stock.
  • Ensure premises are clean and organized.
  • Perform hard manual labor, maintaining a tidy workspace.
  • Contribute to overall operational efficiency and safety.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or NQF4
• Ability to perform hard manual labor
• Basic English literacy and comprehension
• Willingness to work a 6-day workweek (Monday to Saturday)
• Ability to work night shifts
• Must be in excellent health and physically fit

Skills Required:

• Strong service orientation
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and precision
• Ability to maintain tidiness and adhere to safety protocols
