Health and Safety Intern

Position: Health and Safety Intern (2 Years)
Location: Cape Lime, Vredendal
Closing Date: 27 September 2024

Minimum Qualification/Experience:

• Grade 12
• Health & Safety Qualification (Preferably Mining SAMTRAC)
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act 29 of 1996
• Knowledge of environmental-related legislation (advantageous)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Writing reports
• Reporting to the manager and SHE Officer within agreed-upon timeframes
• Completing daily checklists and conducting toolbox talks
• Updating notice boards
• Filing
• Conducting inductions
• Performing inspections
