Job Title: Sales/Orders Administrator

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • A valid code 08 driver’s license is advantageous.
  • Proficient in English (writing, understanding, and communication).
  • No criminal record.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook (Accpac, Weighbridge, and Batching systems knowledge will be advantageous).

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sales quotations for account and cash customers.
  • Prepare pro-forma invoices.
  • Open and monitor sales purchase orders.
  • Issue receipt numbers for payments from cash customers.
  • Provide sales information to management upon request.
  • Process price increases or adjustments as per management’s requests.
  • Liaise with plant managers, weighbridge clerks, and batchers regarding orders for delivery.
  • Coordinate with the credit controller on customer queries, credit limits, and account status.
  • Ensure internal control processes regarding daily sales transactions.
  • Process daily updates for cancelled and manual delivery notes.
  • Handle daily interface of sales transactions with the Accpac system and issue sales invoices.

Additional Requirements:

  • Candidates must be medically fit according to the Mine Health and Safety Act and company standards.
