The Finance and Insurance (F&I) division plays a critical role in ensuring customers receive tailored financial solutions and approved value-added products, while supporting dealership profitability and compliance with industry regulations.
Position Overview
The Finance and Insurance Manager – VW Gauteng will provide expert financial and insurance services to dealership customers, focusing on maximizing gross profit, ensuring compliance, and delivering exceptional service. This role requires a proactive individual with strong sales acumen, regulatory knowledge, and operational expertise, capable of supporting both customers and dealership operations.
Minimum Requirements
Education and Qualifications:

Grade 12 / Matric with a relevant diploma.

Credit Management Diploma (advantageous).
-
Regulatory Exam, NC Accreditation, Retail or Short-Term Insurance Qualification with minimum 120 credits.

Accredited by FSP and mandated to perform NCA functions (s13 mandate).
Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within Automotive Retail or Banking.

Proven customer service, sales management, and financial advisory experience.
Skills and Knowledge:
-
Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle legislation, trade practices, and dealership policies.

Understanding of NCA, CRA, FAIS, FICA, and retail compliance requirements.

Ability to manage debtors’ books, perform financial needs analyses, and sell value-added finance and insurance products.

Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points in line with regulatory requirements.

Valid driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities

Achieve agreed performance targets, budget goals, and sales objectives in a high-volume dealership.

Maximize second gross profit and dealership revenue.

Ensure dealership compliance with governance, legislation, and internal policies.

Conduct financial needs analyses and provide customers with tailored finance and insurance solutions.

Manage and maintain the finance and insurance debtor’s book with accuracy and compliance.

Provide operational support for finance and insurance activities, contributing to overall dealership growth.

Educate and inform customers on products, services, and financial solutions to enhance customer retention.

Monitor, record, and report transactional activities to provide timely and accurate information for decision-making.

Continuously enhance personal competence through knowledge development and industry updates.
