Role Overview
The Sales Representative will manage and grow traditional trade routes for the Goldfields DC Bread division, driving revenue and volume in line with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). This role requires proactive engagement with customers, ensuring high service standards and operational efficiency across the assigned route.
Ideal candidates are FMCG sales professionals with route management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive performance in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities

Achieve revenue and volume targets according to the Annual Operating Plan.

Ensure 100% customer call rate and achieve a 90% strike rate.

Maintain a stales threshold of 0.5%.
-
Acquire new business opportunities within assigned territory.
-
Manage cash and stock effectively on route.

Pull and analyse reports to drive continuous improvement.
-
Support company cost control through efficient vehicle usage.
-
Comply with all functional and non-functional company policies, including sales, health, and safety standards.

Maintain company assets, such as hand-held computers, vehicles, uniforms, and mobile phones.
Minimum Requirements
-
3-year Business/Commercial Tertiary qualification.
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the FMCG environment, with at least 1 year in a sales role.

At least 1 year experience operating a vehicle.

Valid Code 10 driver’s license with Public Drivers Permit (PDP).

Certified Defensive Driver Certification.
