BRB, part of Premier Foods, is a leading bakery and food manufacturer in South Africa. The Aeroton facility is offering an Internship in Quality Assurance to provide practical exposure and experience in bakery QC/QA processes.
This internship is ideal for final-year students studying Food Technology or related disciplines, looking to gain hands-on experience in quality management, food safety, and production control.
Role Overview
The Internship Quality Assurance role will provide practical exposure to quality control processes, technical support, auditing, and food safety practices. Interns will work under formal and informal guidance to develop their skills in ensuring consistent product quality.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure production of high-quality bakery products.

Gain practical experience in Quality Management processes.

Participate in site, internal, and external audits.

Provide technical support and troubleshoot quality-related issues.

Support food safety initiatives and foster a strong safety culture.

Accurately record workplace exposure in logbooks.

Perform tasks as assigned by the QC/QA Manager.

Work in a factory environment, including Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays as per shift roster.
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric

Studying towards a National Diploma in Food Technology (final year)
