The Noordhoek Manor facility, located just 15 minutes from Blue Route Mall, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Carer Supervisor to lead and inspire a team of carers.
Role Overview
As a Carer Supervisor, you will take on a leadership role within the healthcare team, ensuring carers deliver exceptional support across physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and wants to make a lasting difference in the lives of residents.
Your role will focus on supervision, staff management, training, compliance monitoring, and direct involvement in patient care when needed. You will also play a key part in maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring care plans are properly executed, and fostering a culture of compassion and accountability within your team.
Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and supervision to the Carer Team, ensuring residents receive compassionate and comprehensive care.

Oversee care plan execution and proper documentation through the organization’s digital healthcare system.

Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations, reporting non-compliance promptly.

Conduct probation assessments and ensure performance management documentation is completed accurately and timeously.

Manage disciplinary processes in line with company guidelines, liaising with HR when required.

Ensure staffing levels are sufficient for every shift while managing leave requests effectively.

Oversee staff presentation, grooming, and adherence to uniform standards.

Provide training interventions to address skill or knowledge gaps within the team.

Support carers in responding to call bells, panic buttons, and emergency incidents.

Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans.

Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new staff, ensuring they meet facility standards.

Oversee the allocation and accountability of healthcare equipment and inventory supplies.
