We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Beauty Therapist for our Rustenburg salon to provide expert beauty treatments, enhance customer experience, and contribute to salon growth.
Role Overview
The Beauty Therapist is responsible for delivering professional beauty services, maintaining high hygiene and operational standards, and ensuring every client has a superior salon experience. You will educate clients about services, maintain equipment, and contribute to the efficient operation of the salon.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver a range of beauty treatments including facials, waxing, massages, manicures, and pedicures in line with Dis-Chem standards.

Create awareness of Dis-Chem’s beauty services and treatments among clients.

Manage client records, report on queries, complaints, and compliments.

Ensure all salon equipment is clean, safe, and operational.

Maintain accurate stock levels for salon supplies.

Stay informed of new products, treatments, and service techniques.

Foster positive client relationships and provide professional customer service.
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 / Matric
-
2-year National or International Certificate/Diploma in Beauty Therapy
-
Minimum 12 months’ practical experience in a professional salon

Computer literate
-
Sound numerical skills
-
Willingness to work retail hours
Advantageous:

3-year Certificate/Diploma in Beauty Therapy
-
Minimum 3 years’ practical salon experience
-
Experience with soft laser, bio-magnetic, microdermabrasion, slimming, or spray tan treatments

Additional salon equipment training
-
Bilingual ability
Skills and Competencies

Solid understanding of skin anatomy, physiology, and treatment contraindications

Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain positive client relations
