The HR Coordinator position forms part of Fidelity’s Human Capital Division, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where human resources and project management play a crucial role in driving business success.


Role Overview

The HR Coordinator will be based in Helderkruin / Fidelity Training Centre Florida and will report directly to the General Manager: Human Capital. This role is designed for a professional with proven HR generalist or HR business partner experience who thrives in managing both people and processes.

The HR Coordinator will provide project coordination support on critical HR deliverables such as job design, job grading, talent mapping, operational start-up projects, and compliance monitoring. The role requires a detail-oriented and organised professional who can manage multiple HR projects simultaneously while ensuring full compliance with labour legislation and company policies.


Key Responsibilities

The HR Coordinator will play a central role in delivering strategic HR support across the Fidelity Services Group. Main duties include:

  • HR Service Delivery: Supporting Regional HR Managers with recruitment, onboarding, competency profiling, job analysis, training and development, and performance management.

  • Project Coordination: Managing projects related to job design, mapping, grading, and new business start-ups.

  • Compliance Management: Conducting regional HR audits to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and South African labour laws such as the BCEA, EEA, and LRA.

  • Liaison and Communication: Acting as the link between HR and other divisions to ensure alignment of HR practices with organisational goals.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Preparing HR-related correspondence, compiling reports, and ensuring accurate project documentation.

  • Operational Support: Monitoring and managing contractual compliance during business roll-outs and collaborating with the Health & Safety department.

  • Employee Support: Responding to employee inquiries, escalating issues when required, and ensuring effective HR service delivery.


Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • A Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or an equivalent qualification.

  • 3–5 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or HR Project Coordinator.

  • Proven leadership abilities and project management experience.

  • Experience working in diverse, multi-operational environments.

  • Operational experience and knowledge of start-up manpower requirements, client SLA compliance, and take-on procedures.

  • Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation (BCEA, EEA, LRA).

  • Experience in job design, talent mapping, and career development frameworks.

  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to travel and operate across different business units as required.
