Empact Group, a respected leader in food and facilities management services, is seeking a proactive and dependable Store Supervisor to take ownership of inventory operations at its Cape Town site. This full-time opportunity is ideal for someone with solid stock control experience who enjoys a dynamic work environment where efficiency and accuracy are critical.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
- 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a stockroom or warehouse environment
- Experience in the food service, catering, or FMCG industry is preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Excel and inventory software
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- Physically able to manage stock and move materials as needed

Core Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth stockroom functionality
- Monitor incoming and outgoing stock to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Supervise and assist with stock receiving, issuing, and storage
- Maintain clear and accurate stock records using company systems
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards
- Conduct weekly and monthly stock counts with detailed reporting
- Supervise store staff and coordinate daily workload
- Liaise with internal departments to meet requisition needs and fulfil orders
- Implement and maintain stock rotation (FIFO)
- Address discrepancies, perform audits, and resolve issues with suppliers or other departments
