Lead a High-Performing Retail Team in Mafikeng
PEP is looking for a driven and customer-centric Store Manager to lead its PEP Home store located at Mafikeng Market Square in the North West province. Key Responsibilities
1. Drive Sales and Customer Service
- Deliver top-notch customer service and ensure a memorable in-store experience.
- Maintain world-class store standards and a clean, welcoming environment.
- Implement promotional activities and manage product displays to maximize sales opportunities.
2. Reduce Stock Loss and Manage Risk
- Promote a store culture that prioritizes integrity and accountability.
- Apply proper cash handling and stock security protocols to reduce shrinkage.
- Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks.
3. Ensure Cost Efficiency
- Embrace PEP’s low-cost culture by managing resources effectively.
- Monitor store expenses and implement strategies that enhance profitability.
4. Execute Administration to Standard
- Oversee all store administrative functions in accordance with company guidelines.
- Ensure documentation, reporting, and daily procedures are up to date and accurate.
5. Team Leadership and Performance Management
- Lead and inspire your team of Dynamos to perform at their best.
- Deliver training, mentorship, and support to ensure continuous growth and productivity.
- Set clear performance standards and hold the team accountable.
6. Maintain Health, Safety and Housekeeping
- Uphold health and safety protocols across all store operations.
- Ensure a tidy, safe, and organized workspace for staff and customers alike.
Job Requirements
- A completed Grade 12 certificate is essential.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- A diploma or degree in retail, business management, or a related field is advantageous.
- 1–2 years of retail experience in a leadership position is ideal.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google GSuite is beneficial.
