Through this HR Analytics Internship, CIPC is seeking bright, motivated individuals to join their Human Capital team.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Graduate Internship Programme for Human Capital (HR Analytics) offers recent graduates the opportunity to gain in-depth, hands-on experience in HR data analysis, reporting, and human resource decision-making processes within the public sector. The internship is based at CIPC’s Sunnyside Office in Pretoria and will run for a period of 24 months.
The successful candidates will assist in collecting, analysing, and interpreting HR-related data to support strategic workforce planning and organisational development. This internship provides valuable exposure to HR analytics, a rapidly growing area within the field of human resources that is essential for driving data-informed HR decisions.
WHAT IS AN INTERNSHIP?
As defined by the South African Cabinet in December 2002, an internship is a structured work experience programme targeting unemployed graduates. It provides an opportunity for graduates to apply the knowledge gained during their studies in a professional environment while building critical skills for the world of work.
The CIPC Graduate Internship Programme is specifically targeted at:

Unemployed South African graduates with the relevant academic qualifications

Individuals who have not been exposed to any formal work experience

Graduates who have never participated in an internship programme

South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 years
Successful candidates will be expected to sign a Graduate Internship Programme Agreement and commit to the full duration of the internship.
KEY REQUIREMENTS

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Resource Management with HR Analytics as a major

South African citizenship

Aged between 18 and 35 years

No previous formal work experience or internship participation

Strong interest in HR data analysis, workforce planning, and decision-making

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reporting tools will be an added advantage
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Qualification and citizenship checks will be conducted on successful candidates

Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA)

REMUNERATION
Successful interns will receive a monthly stipend of R12,000.00, offering financial assistance throughout the internship period.
