We’re searching for a passionate, results-driven Store Manager to lead our Tygervalley Mall branch. If you are motivated by people leadership, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction, this opportunity is for you.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Equivalent qualification

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience as a Store Manager, preferably in a retail environment

  • Computer literacy essential

  • Strong leadership and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Fluency in English required; competence in a second South African language is advantageous

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Merchandise management

    • Stock control and cost management

    • Achieving high store standards

    • Customer service best practices

    • Team leadership and motivation

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Profitability

  • Maximise store profitability by achieving and exceeding sales targets

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly store performance

  • Drive initiatives to increase turnover and reduce stock losses

Merchandise & Stock Management

  • Oversee merchandise presentation, ensuring the store aligns with brand standards

  • Ensure effective stock management, including stock holding and loss prevention

  • Implement policies and procedures to maintain stock integrity

Financial & Administrative Support

  • Ensure all administrative functions and reports are completed accurately and on time

  • Support financial controls and adherence to company policies

People Management & Team Leadership

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team

  • Conduct staff coaching, development, and performance management

  • Assist with HR responsibilities and drive a positive store culture
