Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 / Equivalent qualification
-
1 to 2 years’ experience as a Store Manager, preferably in a retail environment
-
Computer literacy essential
-
Strong leadership and communication skills (written and verbal)
-
Fluency in English required; competence in a second South African language is advantageous

Strong understanding of:

Merchandise management

Stock control and cost management

Achieving high store standards

Customer service best practices

Team leadership and motivation

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Profitability
-
Maximise store profitability by achieving and exceeding sales targets
-
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly store performance
-
Drive initiatives to increase turnover and reduce stock losses
Merchandise & Stock Management
-
Oversee merchandise presentation, ensuring the store aligns with brand standards
-
Ensure effective stock management, including stock holding and loss prevention
-
Implement policies and procedures to maintain stock integrity
Financial & Administrative Support

Ensure all administrative functions and reports are completed accurately and on time

Support financial controls and adherence to company policies
People Management & Team Leadership

Lead and inspire a high-performing team
-
Conduct staff coaching, development, and performance management
-
Assist with HR responsibilities and drive a positive store culture
