The hotel is currently seeking a meticulous and organised Learning and Change Co-Ordinator to join its dynamic team, providing critical support to Learning and Development operations.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Learning and Change Co-Ordinator will play an essential role in supporting the Learning and Change function within the hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for administrative processes, learning programme coordination, system updates, and supporting change initiatives. This role requires attention to detail, strong organisational abilities, and a proactive approach to learning and development operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Learning and Development Administration

Act as the first point of contact for all learning and change-related queries

Maintain accurate learning and development event records, including course codes, calendars, attendance registers, and logistical information

Administer learning-related documentation for new programme requests and amendments to existing programmes

Update the learning management system with programme information, bursary applications, study assistance loans, and development programmes

Ensure all learning data is accurate and complies with audit and legislative requirements
Skills Development and Bursary Administration

Track and monitor bursary applications, study assistance loans, and academic results

Provide administrative support for processing learnerships and skills development programmes

Support the preparation of mandatory reports and internal audits to ensure clean, accurate data for submission

Coordinate documentation and contracts for external professionals involved in learning initiatives
Event Coordination and Logistics

Arrange venues, equipment, catering, and logistics for learning and change programmes
-
Send out invitations and communicate programme details to attendees in advance
-
Ensure all required resources, such as equipment and learning materials, are available and in working order
-
Liaise with travel service providers to coordinate travel and accommodation for stakeholders and service providers
Change Communication and Stakeholder Support

Support the team in developing communication templates, posters, and content for change initiatives

Assist with compiling presentations, data analytics, and reporting related to learning and change

Track the progress of learning programmes and monitor costs to ensure alignment with budgets and contracts

Provide administrative support for the Learning & Development department, including responding to queries, emails, and telephone enquiries
Onboarding and General Administration

Facilitate and track onboarding processes for new employees within the unit

Maintain and update shared folders, templates, and documentation repositories

Allocate and reconcile supplier invoices, resolving queries and tracking spend against skills development targets

Minute meetings and communicate relevant information to stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Grade 12 / Matric is essential

Currently studying towards a 2-Year tertiary qualification in Learning, Human Resources, or ODETDP (Occupationally Directed Education, Training and Development Practices)

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative role

Exposure to learning and development processes is advantageous
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Understanding of Skills Development legislation and BBBEE regulations

Strong project coordination and organisational skills
-
Proficiency in MS Office and administrative systems such as PeopleSoft
-
Familiarity with IFS for purchase requisitions
-
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
-
High levels of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
-
Financial acumen and numerical skills for reporting and budget tracking
-
Business understanding and ability to support operational requirements
