Minimum Requirements

  • Approximately 1 year experience as a Receptionist in the hospitality industry

  • Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Tourism Management is advantageous

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Extensive experience with Opera Property Management System

  • Bilingual communication skills preferred

  • Accountable, innovative, and a strong motivator

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Impeccable grooming, posture, and professional body language

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Guest Services

  • Assist Front Office Management and supervisors in executing reception procedures using appropriate hotel systems

  • Welcome guests warmly, providing polite, friendly, and efficient service

  • Ensure guest registration forms are completed accurately and updated in the reservation system

  • Maintain guest profiles including nationality statistics and guarantee payments according to hotel policies

Front Office Management

  • Familiarize yourself thoroughly with all hotel and company policies and ensure compliance

  • Maintain tidiness and orderliness in the Front Office area, ensuring safekeeping of all correspondence and registration documents

  • Process guest reservations and transactions accurately to contribute to the hotel’s operational success

Professionalism

  • Maintain a high standard of grooming, posture, and body language at all times

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members

  • Demonstrate accountability and innovation in daily responsibilities
